Discover the secret the locals already know - Chelan is the Recreational Hang Gliding Capital of the World! Pilots come from all around the world to glide from Chelan Sky Park on top of the Butte. Some hang gliders have even flown all the way to Canada!

Skiing and Snowmobiling
Hundreds of miles of groomed trails and perfect snow make Chelan a hotspot for winter vacationers as well. It's been voted the #1 location to snowmobile in the state of Washington for four years running. Also, vacationers enjoy cross-country skiing at Echo Ridge, plus downhill skiing at Echo Valley and nearby Mission Ridge.
